You're onto a conspiracy, Bruce ... the best Vit D on earth is freely available from about 15-30 minutes of sunshine a day ... life, be in it! The 'new push' for the pill variety of sunshine is literally - the patenting of sunshine into a for profit agenda!
Many years ago when Grannie was a girl, she was told to put the new baby into dappled late morning sunshine for not more than 10 minues a day if she wanted baby to grow up healthy and happy ... and now it comes on a pill or potion! We've come so far, ehh?
