He was reportedly admitted into Fairfax Hospital (Fairfax, VA) on Wednesday morning, and was scheduled for an angioplasty surgical procedure earlier today. Coronary angioplasty (an-jee-oh-plas-tee) is a procedure used to open blocked or narrowed coronary arteries in order to improve blood flow to the heart. Let us make du'a for our brother - that ALLAH allows him a full recovery, and a speedy resumption of his much needed civil liberties work. Let this also be a reminder to us all that the body has rights, and we must do all that we can to take care of ourselves...and leave the rest to the qadr of ALLAH.
