Abduction, gang-rape accused of 4 Dalits girls at Bhagna Village, Haryana acquitted.

According to a report in Hindi daily JANSATTA (14-08-2015) the 4 youths who were being tried for alleged abduction and gang-rape of 4 Dalits girls at Bhagna Village of Hissar district in Haryana on March 3, 2014 were released by additional district and sessions judge Alka Malik at Hissar on August 13, 2015 for the want of proofs. Thus the sacrosanct tradition that perpetrators of violence against minorities and Dalits will not be punished continues on the eve of 69^thanniversary of Independence Day. One shocking aspect is that this news did not get space in most of the major English dailies of today
